Would this tape be suitable for use in public conveniences? Is it waterproof?

Hi, the tape is waterproof however not very hygienic as small particles can get trapped and bacteria can easily build up. I need to know if this would be suitable for marking stairs in a fairly dark bar or if not do you have anything suitable.
