A range of outdoor and indoor mats to effectively combat dirt and water at the front door. An effective strategy of dirt and moisture control can greatly improve overall cleanliness and safety standards, while reducing damage to the building interior and reducing cleaning costs.

Entrance mats are the primary deterrent against dirt and water being brought into buildings by building users. In buildings with heavy foot traffic, the accumulation of tracked in dirt and moisture leads to damage of existing flooring and building equipment. In fact, the primary cause of elevator failure is the dirt brought into the building on shoes. Furthermore, moisture brought into the building on shoes is a primary cause of accidental slips and falls.

Outdoor entrance mats are the first line of defense against dirt and moisture entering the building. Placed outside the doorway to scrape mud from shoes, outdoor mats greatly reduce the amount of dirt brought into the building. All outdoor mats feature a self-draining design to allow water to drain away from the surface. Made from robust materials to withstand the elements.

Indoor mats are the second line of defense primarily tackling moisture and loose dirt. Placed inside the doorway, these mats absorb moisture from shoes preventing it being spread around the floor and contain the moisture within a waterproof backing. These mats can absorb many times their own weight in water, and are easily cleaned. A choice of colours are available in cotton or synthetic pile. All mats have a non-slip PVC or bitumen backing.

Coir mats are woven from natural fibres. The stiff bristles provide an excellent scraping action, while the thick pile has an excellent absorbtion capacity. Coir mats are suitable for indoor use.
