Floorline Anti-Slip Matting

Light, economical, hygienic and comfortable. Floorline is easy to roll up for cleaning purposes and ideal for wet areas and areas where occasional spillage occurs. Floorline ensures a safe walking surface and reduces impact breakages. Formulated with an anti-microbial additive for improved hygiene in barefoot areas.

We could use this to cover a slippery ramp exit for swimmers in a sea water lake. Does it sink to the bottom or need weighting down? The ramp is concrete but is coated with algae.

Hi. Yes it does sink, but only just.The ribs are hollow which gives it bouyancy, also due to the slope of the ramp and the slippery algae I expect there would be traction issues. So it would definitely need fixing or weighing down somehow. A heavier product would be a safer option as it is less likely to ruck or creep which could easily happen with a lightweight product under the conditions described.
