Floorline Anti-Slip Matting

Light, economical, hygienic and comfortable. Floorline is easy to roll up for cleaning purposes and ideal for wet areas and areas where occasional spillage occurs. Floorline ensures a safe walking surface and reduces impact breakages. Formulated with an anti-microbial additive for improved hygiene in barefoot areas.

It features a slip resistant surface (DIN 51130 - R11) and an open grid design for effective liquid drainage. The hollow construction insulates feet against cold, hard floors, reducing standing fatigue. Easy handling also ensures light work of installation and cleaning.

We could use this to cover a slippery ramp exit for swimmers in a sea water lake. Does it sink to the bottom or need weighting down? The ramp is concrete but is coated with algae.

Administrator

Hi. Yes it does sink, but only just. The ribs are hollow which gives it bouyancy, also due to the slope of the ramp and the slippery algae I expect there would be traction issues. So it would definitely need fixing or weighing down somehow. A heavier product would be a safer option as it is less likely to ruck or creep which could easily happen with a lightweight product under the conditions described.

Hi, Can you tell me if your heron rib products will withstand industrial washing at 90 deg. c. for 5 minutes? Best regards Peter Williams

Administrator

Hi Peter, thank you for your enquiry. The maximum working temperature is 60 Celsius, so I would not recommend much above this. If you would like to receive small sample to test it with, please contact us using the contact form.
